Device for interface between the peripheral equipment and the traffic control centre

Application:

    Connection between the main control centre of the automated system for control of city road traffic and the peripheral control equipment over GSM/GPRS cellular networks.

Provides:

    Transmission of the following information from the Spektr1 radar vehicle detector to the main control centre:
  • - presence (number) of moving vehicles in up to 8 control zones (this information is used to calculate intensity pulses for each zone);
  • - statistics related to traffic flow dynamics (option), including the following parameters:
  • - total number of vehicles passing through a control zone;
  • - occupancy of a control zone (ratio of the time during which a zone is occupied by a vehicle to the time of statistical registration);
  • - mean speed of the traffic flow passing through a control zone;
  • - number of long-length vehicles (more than 10 m long) passing through a control zone.
    An RS-485 interface adapter (option) incorporated in the device makes it possible to control the following equipment:
  • - advance information boards;
  • - speed indicators (sign 5.18.1);
  • - remotely-controlled signs, etc.

A built-in accumulation battery provides round-the-clock operation of the device and the vehicle detector in any season (with power supply from the lighting network).

    Basic characteristics:
  • - operating temperature range: from -40°Ñ to +50°Ñ with relative humidity of (98±2)% at 35°Ñ;
  • - mains nominal voltage: 230 V at 50 Hz;
  • - cabinet dimensions: 200õ300õ150 mm;
  • - the device can be accommodated on lamp posts with a diameter of 70 to 140 mm.
