Automated information system for railway stations

Provides:
• - storage, processing and issue of general information entered by an operator and received from different services in automatic mode, on request or with a present periodicity;
• - centralized notification of information received from the station’s dispatcher service to passengers and the attending personnel;
• - display of information about train category, time and place of arrival/departure and availability of tickets on information boards in automatic and manual modes;
• - authorized access of the personnel to the database for retrieval of necessary information in accordance with their duties;
• - presentation of information inquired by an individual user on the display of an information terminal in textual, tabular or graphical form and printout of this information if requested.
