Device for control of energy quality parameters (UK2)

The UK2 device is designed for measuring and recording energy quality parameters as per GOST 13109-97, voltage and current characteristics, as well as for detecting places where energy quality was caused. The device is used at power supply objects for collecting, processing and storing data about measured parameters.

Functionality

– Direct connection of voltage measuring inputs to single-phase and three-phase 0.4 kV networks, connection to networks with larger voltages through measuring transformers;
– Connection of current measuring inputs with breaking of circuits with a rated current of 1 A or 5 A, and without circuit break by using a current clamp;
– Measurement of various energy quality parameters in full compliance with GOST 13109-97;
– Selection of the connection scheme, the parameters of the scheme taken into account in computations (primary and secondary voltages and currents of measuring transformers, power flow schemes);
– Calculation and storing of values of quality parameters instead of results of statistical treatment, which makes it possible to analyze the state of the controlled power network in detail for the whole period of measurements;
– Stand-alone accumulation of data during more than two months; the accumulated data (measurement results, including measurements at different power supply objects) are stored in the device for an unlimited period of time;
– Statistical treatment of accumulated data and comparison of the results with prescribed energy quality standards;
– User-friendly interface (with a large liquid-crystal display and a keyboard) allowing to control the device with the help of a comprehensive menu system and to view measurement results both in textual and in graphical form;
– Interfaces for communication with PCs or for operation as part of an automated system;
– On-line viewing of accumulated data and current parameters (energy quality parameters existing currently in the power network) and transmission of data to a PC as they become available.

The stationary version of the device, UK2-S, is designed for installation at transformer and distribution substations of enterprises, in processing lines and at various power supply objects for continuous energy quality monitoring. The UK2-S has clamp-type connectors that can be sealed for connection to a controlled network. The RS-485 interface working under the Modbus RTU protocol allows easy integration of the device into various automated systems.

The portable version, UK2-P, is intended to be used by electric power inspection services, industrial and school laboratories. To ensure easy and quick connection to a network, the device has standard sockets for pin connectors and is supplied together with a cable set and a current clamp for current measurements without circuit break. The device has a USB port for connecting a printer for printout of energy quality protocols or a USB-Flash for recording of accumulated data.
