On June 22, 2010 the Automated Traffic Control System (ATCS) of Novosibirsk (1st and 2nd stages) developed by NIISA was successfully put into commercial operation

It took NIISA a little over 2 years to implement this large-scale project within the target program "Traffic Safety in Novosibirsk for 2008-2010".
During performance of works under the contract our specialists inspected the city road network and the existing light signals control circuit. Engineering and production projects were developed. Presently in Novosibirsk there operates the program-technical suite (PTS) that controls 92 light signals of the 1st and 2nd stages of the ATCS.
In November 2009 the 1st anв 2nd stages of the Novosibirsk ATCS were put into trial operation.
The trial operation results demonstrated trouble-free performance of the central control station PTS, reliable and sustainable peripheral equipment control. The traffic speed at the city highways increased by 20% (on average), the total delays decreased by 30%.
According to the decision of the acceptance committee the Automated Traffic Control System of Novosibirsk city (1st and 2nd stages) was put into commercial operation on June 22, 2010.

Nowadays the Agat ATCS is successfully operated in Minsk, Kaliningrad, and is being put into operation in Baranovichi and Pinsk.
